Hope you’re as excited about this as I am. Dice has officially announced the release dates for the Battlefield 3 beta. First off, if you own Medal of Honor: Limited Edition, you will gain access to the beta 48 hours prior to the open beta, which will be on September 27th, Tuesday. Limited Edition owners will receive an e-mail providing details on how to access the closed beta. The open beta will launch on September 29th, Thursday. The beat will close on October 10th. The open and closed beta will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, and the Pc. The beta will consist of the game mode Rush on the map Operation Metro. It has also been reported that a few tweaks here and there have been made to the map since the alpha trial.
In case you’re wondering, alpha trial participants will not receive the beta 2 days early; only Medal of Honor: Limited Edition have been promised this. So don’t forget the dates and remember that the beta will be made available to the Pc and all consoles; sorry Wii owners.
