These days it’s hard to get a basketball fix due to the NBA’s lockout; luckily NBA 2K12 is less than two-weeks away. Last year’s game featured Michael Jordan on the cover. Well, he’s back but he has some friends. 2K Sports has decided to ship the game with three-separate covers which will feature Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird.
That’s not the only thing the game will feature. ‘Greatest Mode’ is what Take-Two is calling it. The mode will allow you to play as some of the most iconic names in NBA history.

The 30 teams that make up the NBA will be included in the game; the ‘Greatest’ is just one of the many modes the game is bound to have. So don’t worry, you won’t be buying a game filled with players wearing short-shorts.
As an avid player of 2K11, I’m happy on how the game is looking and progressing. To all of you wanting some kind of basketball, I recommend picking up any of the NBA 2K games, or just wait for 2K12. You won’t regret buying any, because, well… its basketball. Thanks NBA lockout.
