Capcom are readying a new HD update of classic arcade style fighting game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and have confirmed a release date for August 22nd 2012. Based on the classic manga series, the first iteration of the game was seen in 1998 and gained popularity when ported across to PSone and Sega Dreamcast a year later. While there is no shortage of HD fighting games now available on both modern systems, for many fans of the series, this release will be something special with the promise that the game will keep all the original gameplay elements, as well as the option to play in SD mode, for the purists.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure hits both Xbla and PSN August 22nd priced at 1600 Microsoft points and $19.99 respectively.
